We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Butcher to join our busy supermarket butchery team in South County
Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled butcher who takes pride in quality, presentation, customer service, and
freshly preparing attractive, oven-ready meal solutions for today’s busy customers.
About the Role
You will work as part of our butchery department, preparing, cutting, trimming, and presenting a wide range of fresh
meat products to the highest standard.
A key part of the role will include freshly preparing oven-ready meal solutions, such as marinated meats, stuffed joints,
tray bakes, stir-fry options, ready-to-cook meat dishes, and other value-added products for the counter.
You will help keep our butchery counters fully stocked, fresh, well-presented, and appealing, while also providing
excellent service and advice to our customers.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar butcher or fresh meat role
Strong knife skills and excellent product knowledge
Experience preparing and presenting fresh meat counters
Ability to freshly prepare oven-ready meal solutions and value-added meat products
A good eye for quality, freshness, and presentation
A strong focus on customer service
The ability to work well as part of a team
Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards
A positive attitude and pride in their work
The Position
Part-time role: 24 hours per week
Rate of pay: €16.00–€18.00 per hour, depending on experience
