Job Purpose:
As the first point of contact you will play a vital role in shaping the patient’s journey. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients across multiple dental practice locations by handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, answering questions, and providing exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient and smooth patient flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule dental appointments across multiple locations.
- Handle outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and treatment plan confirmations.
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, billing, and clinic hours.
- Accurately input and update patient information in the dental management system
- Triage calls appropriately (e.g., emergencies, clinical questions, referrals to appropriate clinicans).
- Work collaboratively with front-desk and clinical teams to ensure appointment accuracy and time management.
- Manage allocated clinician diaries, including internal and external referrals
- Accurately claim and record health insurance for allocated diaries.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of customer service experience (healthcare or dental setting preferred).
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and dental practice systems.
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes is an advantage.
Compensation & Schedule:
- This role is Monday-Friday with one Saturday a month with competitive salary based on experience
