Purpose of the role
To ensure the Roscommon Depot forecourt site is safe, clean and welcoming for customers while delivering excellent customer service. Support our growing number of customers availing of our Fuel Card service, while supporting our Retail team, to ensure the smooth efficient operation of the retail business by handling general administrative duties whilst maintaining a focus on the forecourt and customer service-related aspects.
Forecourt Duties
- To deal with customers in a friendly, efficient and helpful manner
- Handle fuel payments and cash transactions
- To ensure all activities are carried out efficiently including managing price displays, sales reconciliations
- To complete the necessary Health and Safety procedures
- Maintain the general upkeep and appearance of the forecourt – Ensuring pumps are kept clean at all times
Retail Administration
- Initial point of contact for Customer Queries at the forecourt by phone and email and handling the general face-to-face price queries for the Fuel Card Team
- Process orders for Fuelcard customers and track card orders from production to issuing.
- Support Sales and Customer Service Teams with pricing queries and card queries.
- To support project work as required.
- Support planned Marketing Initiatives during the year.
- Support Sales Team with New Business Campaigns by building prospects and managing Salesforce campaigns.
- Support the Retail team with pricing strategy, data maintenance, and day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure efficient forecourt and retail operations.
Other
- To complete ad hoc administration duties as required ensuring the smooth running of the site
Relationship with other roles
- Operate, at all times, in a professional, customer friendly and supportive way with both customers and staff.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a customer focused role.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed targets
- Experience of working in a Depot environment
- IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Personal Characteristics, Knowledge & Skills
- Customer Service focused
- Motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
- Organisational and time management skills are essential
- Being courteous and professional at all times.
