Main Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority. Interact with each customer with great pride, passion and care and inspire shoppers through knowledge and expertise.

· Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
Main Duties:
1. Always ensure that customer satisfaction is the number one priority by greeting each customer as if it’s their first visit to the store and consistently deliver an exceptional service by displaying I-CARE service excellence behaviours;
2. At checkout ensure all transactions are dealt with in a speedy and efficient manner;
3. Actively manage queues;
4. When on the tills, ensure all till procedures are followed correctly;
5. Report any scanning issues at the checkouts to the Store Manager;
6. Keep up-to-date with the offers, promotion and product ranges in Store;
7. Offer advice, information and make personal recommendations to customers where relevant;
8. When on the checkout, offer a receipt at the end of each transaction;
9. Show a positive attitude and take responsibility for ensuring customers receive an excellent shopping experience;
10. Deal with all customer queries and complaints politely, professionally and consistent with store policy;
11. Work towards achieving Service Excellence in the mystery shop reports;
12. Carry out stock rotation when merchandising and packing shelves, ensuring that all areas of the store in which you are operating are presented to the highest standard;
13. Ensure you understand and comply with all company hygiene, HACCP (if relevant) and food safety procedures;
14. Always wear full uniform, name badge and present a neat and tidy appearance at all times;
15. Adhere to all Store rules, policies and procedures at all time;
16. Be familiar and comply with all Health & Safety regulations particularly those pertaining to your role and to report any breaches to store management;
17. Follow procedures in relation to dealing with and reporting spillages, accidents and the prevention of slips, trips and falls;

19. Perform any other duties or assume any other responsibilities that may be assigned to you from time to time. These may be outside of your normal area of work. Furthermore, you may be assigned to work in other areas within the Store on either a temporary or permanent basis.
