About the Role
As a Museum Assistant , you’ll be the one bringing the illusions in the museum to life. You’ll guide visitors through interactive exhibits, take lots of photographs and videos of our guests ands also will be explain the science behind the illusions, and ensure everyone — from kids to adults — has a fun, educational, and safe experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
- Explain the science and stories behind exhibits in an accessible way.
- Assist visitors with interactive installations and photo spots making sure they get the right angles and shots for a memorable experience.
- Monitor exhibit areas to ensure safety and proper use of displays.
- Support daily operations, including ticketing, retail, and event assistance.
- Maintain a positive, upbeat and energetic atmosphere throughout the museum.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Fluency in English is essential and having an extra language is a great addition.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a desire to help customers out even when under pressure.
- Ability to engage with diverse audiences (families, tourists, school groups)
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
- Weekend and holiday availability essential.

Bonus: Experience in hospitality, education, tourism, theatre, or customer service.
Fixed Term: Fixed term 3 month contract (seasonal), with possibility of extension or permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Pay: From €14.15 per hour
