Kitchen Assistant Required
Experience Essential – Minimum 2–3 Years
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a busy café environment.
This is a fast-paced role, so previous kitchen experience is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and supporting the kitchen team to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently during busy service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily food preparation.
- Supporting the current kitchen team during service.
- Preparing ingredients to specification.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workspace.
- Stock rotation and correct food storage.
- Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation.
- Following all food safety and HACCP procedures.
- Helping with kitchen cleaning duties and end-of-day procedures.
Why Experience is Essential
We're looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of working in a commercial kitchen, including:
- Basic knife skills and safe food preparation.
- Food hygiene and HACCP practices.
- Preventing cross-contamination.
- Safe handling and storage of food.

- Following instructions accurately and working as part of a team.
- Understanding the pace and demands of a busy kitchen service.
