Lead Carer – Maternity Leave Cover (1 Year)
We are currently seeking a compassionate, organised and experienced Lead Carer to join our team on a maternity leave contract in our nursing home.
This role is primarily office hours and involves supporting the day-to-day coordination of care staff while ensuring high standards of resident care are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise care staff
- Assist with staff rostering and daily coordination
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Liaise with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure high standards of person-centred care
- Support management with daily operational duties
Requirements
- Experience working in elderly care
- Previous senior/lead carer experience desirable
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
