Job Purpose
To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all front of house areas of the Mespil Hotel, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for guests, visitors, and team members at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain all front of house areas including lobby, reception, corridors, public areas, lifts and lift lobbies and guest facilities to a 4-star standard
Ensure public restrooms are cleaned, sanitised, and fully stocked throughout the day
Clean and maintain internal male and female team changing rooms to a high standard
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the staff dining area
Carry out scheduled deep cleaning tasks as required
Assist with bedroom cleaning when required, ensuring full compliance with hotel standards
Ensure when required that back of house areas are cleaned and maintained
To clean and maintain the Fitness Suites and the Business Centre
Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with health and safety procedures
Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly to the relevant department
Ensure all cleaning checklists are completed accurately and on time
Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team and other departments to maintain standards
Uphold the values and service standards of the Mespil Hotel at all times
Working Hours
5 days per week - Flexibility is required, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Shift patterns include but exhaustive:
07:00 - 15:00
09:00 - 17:00
10.00 - 18.00
12:00 - 20:00
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment is essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
Good level of spoken and written English
Well-groomed and professional appearance
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
Good understanding of hygiene, health & safety, and cleaning procedures
