About The Role
As a Chef de Partie at The Maritime Hotel, you will be instrumental in delivering an exceptional culinary experience to our guests. You will:

Oversee and expertly manage a designated kitchen section, ensuring consistent excellence in food quality, preparation, and presentation across our diverse outlets.

Actively contribute to the planning, preparation, and seamless delivery of high-volume food service, maintaining our renowned standards.

Mentor, guide, and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Champion the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, ensuring full HACCP and Health & Safety compliance at all times.

Collaborate effectively with the wider kitchen team, contributing to smooth daily operations and a positive work atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For:

A minimum of two years’ experience at Chef de Partie level within a bustling, high-volume kitchen environment.

A profound passion for showcasing local Kerry produce and a commitment to delivering outstanding culinary creations.

Strong understanding of modern food trends, efficient kitchen operations, and impeccable plating standards.

A positive, team-oriented attitude, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative, maintain exceptional organisation, and perform calmly and effectively under pressure.
Required Criteria

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.

Demonstrable strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.

Ability to manage and run a specific kitchen section efficiently.
