For the first time in over 30 years, Fairview Family Practice is seeking a new Practice Manager. Our outgoing manager, who joined us in 1990, built a strong legacy over her decades with the clinic. As she enters a well-deserved retirement, we are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and forward-thinking manager to help shape the future of our practice.
We are a tight-knit, busy clinical training practice located centrally in Dublin 3, with excellent public transport links and easy access to local amenities. Having recently transitioned ownership from our original founding GPs to two younger GPs, our team is committed to continuing and building upon the high-standard service provided over the past 30+ years.
About the Role The Practice Manager oversees the daily operations, administration, and finances of the practice. You will manage business activities, support staff, and ensure a seamless, positive experience for every patient connecting with our clinic.

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week, Monday – Friday) on-site at Fairview Family Practice. Hybrid working options may be considered post-probation, subject to business needs
Remuneration: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Workflow Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflows, high-quality administrative support for clinicians, and excellent patient service.
- Develop, implement, and refine standard operating procedures to continuously optimise practice efficiency.
- Manage and address patient feedback and complaints with professionalism.
- Schedule, organise, and attend practice and partner meetings.
- Provide support to front of house staff at times if required.
Financial Management
- Monitor, track, and manage all practice expenses, accounts, payroll, and supplier relationships.
- Maintain detailed financial records and practice spreadsheets.
- Monitor income streams across private practice and state-funded services.
- Provide continuous HR and administrative support to the existing team.
- Manage staff rotas, recruitment, induction and performance tracking.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant healthcare, HR, and data protection regulations.
Team Leadership & HR

Pay: €30,934.72-€71,726.14 per year
