About the Role
We are looking for a professional, reliable and customer-focused Driver / Chauffeur to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will provide safe, comfortable and punctual transportation for clients, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their driving, has excellent knowledge of local roads and is confident dealing with a wide range of customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, professional and punctual transportation for clients.
- Drive passengers to airports, hotels, business meetings, events and other destinations.
- Assist passengers with luggage when required.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all clients.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, presentable and well maintained.
- Carry out basic vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
- Plan routes and use GPS/navigation systems effectively.
- Monitor traffic and road conditions and select the most appropriate routes.
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage and relevant expenses.
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Follow all Irish road traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and respect client privacy.
- Provide a high-quality chauffeur experience at all times.
Requirements
- Full, valid Irish or EU driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
- Clean driving record with no serious driving offences.
- Previous professional driving, chauffeur, taxi, private-hire or customer-service experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of roads and routes in the local area.
- Excellent driving and road-safety skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good spoken English.
- Comfortable using smartphones, GPS and navigation applications.
Desirable
- Previous chauffeur or executive-driver experience.
- Experience transporting corporate or VIP clients.
- Knowledge of airport transfers and major hotels/business locations.
- Garda Vetting, where applicable to the role.
- Manual and automatic driving experience.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
