Job Overview
We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical fault findings.
- Carry out repairs to engines, brakes, suspension, steering , ect.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
- Inspect vehicles to ensure they are safe, roadworthy and operating efficiently.
- Complete repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Carry out pre-repair inspections and provide accurate reports on vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Identify additional faults or repairs required and communicate these clearly.
- Work efficiently and meet agreed deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Vehicle Mechanic with relevant trade qualifications.
- Proven experience working as a vehicle mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Tyre Fitting and Replacements
- Full driving licence preferred.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working on commercial vehicles, vans, light trucks .
- Experience with electronic diagnostic systems.
- Strong electrical and diagnostic knowledge.
- Good general mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple jobs efficiently.

This is a mobile service van position Van and insurance will be provided
Pay: €36,934.03-€58,354.13 per year
