Overview
Crewit Resourcing is seeking an experienced Assistant Technical Project Manager to join a leading estates and infrastructure function supporting healthcare facilities. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with experience in construction, engineering, or project management, looking to contribute to large-scale capital and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities

Support planning and execution of major and minor capital projects

Assist with preparing project briefs, specifications, and budgets

Monitor project delivery to ensure compliance with timelines and budgets
-
Manage contractor selection, tendering, and procurement processes
-
Ensure adherence to EU procurement regulations
-
Develop and implement planned maintenance programmes
-
Oversee building systems, services, and infrastructure performance
-
Allocate resources and manage maintenance budgets
-
Ensure assets are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements
-
Provide technical advice to internal stakeholders
-
Support property strategy and infrastructure planning
-
Assess building conditions, capacity, and utilisation
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across estates and services
-
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and HIQA standards
-
Support fire safety and risk management initiatives
-
Monitor environmental and infrastructure risks
-
Promote continuous improvement in building performance
-
Track and report energy usage
-
Support initiatives to improve energy efficiency and sustainability

Contribute to low-carbon and environmentally responsible practices
Requirements
Qualifications
-
Level 8 degree (or higher) in:
Engineering, Architecture, or Surveying
OR
Chartered membership with a recognized body (e.g. Engineers Ireland, RICS, SCSI, RIAI) -
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in: Construction / project management; Building services (mechanical & electrical); Infrastructure or maintenance delivery

Strong knowledge of construction, maintenance, and building regulations

Experience with EU procurement processes

Understanding of healthcare or regulated environments

Excellent planning, budgeting, and organisational ability

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, AutoCAD, project management software

Full driving licence / access to transport (site travel required)
