We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Sales Executive/Trade Counter Salesperson to join a busy and well-established heating and plumbing supplier in Co. Louth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong product knowledge and a background in trade sales or plumbing supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve trade and retail customers at the counter in a professional and efficient manner
- Provide expert advice on heating and plumbing products
- Process sales orders, payments, and returns accurately
- Maintain stock levels, merchandising, and overall counter presentation
- Handle incoming deliveries and assist with stock control
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Support the sales team with enquiries and quotations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a trade counter or sales role within plumbing/heating merchants preferred
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating products
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills and experience with EPOS systems an advantage
- Team player with a proactive attitude
