As a critical conduit between the business teams and Apple's logistics partners, your success will ensure seamless planning and execution of logistics operations. This position presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual contributor with a background in Operations and Logistics. The ideal candidate will have a consistent record in collaborating effectively with partner teams. The primary objective is to ensure that Apple shipments meet or beat the agreed delivery timelines, thereby delivering exceptional performance for Apple's customers.","responsibilities":"You will be the key liaison between logistics' partner teams, and the freight forwarder management functions within the overall team, ensuring the business timelines are achieved, and project requirements are met.
Oversee the customer fulfillment experience by tracking key metrics and resolving shipping exceptions.
Work with partners across Inbound, Outbound, our Distribution Centers, the Contact Center, and 3PLs.
Review partner performance and customer behavior to spot issues and take action.
Build dashboards and reports with support from our Business Process Re-engineering team.
Support peak periods and adjust to shifting operational needs.
Contribute to Projects and represent Inbound Logistics where required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP or Apple internal databases.
Success working with cross-functional teams and logistics partners.
Ability to stay focused and organized in fast-moving situations.
A curious, problem-solving mindset.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years in logistics operations or relevant industry.
A relevant degree.
Clear communication skills across writing, speaking, and presenting.
Strong Excel skills and experience using analytics or BI tools (Tableau, GBI).
Ability to interpret data and use it to guide decisions.
