The Role
As a Bartender, you’ll be at the heart of the action. You’ll serve beer, spirits, wine, and soft drinks efficiently and responsibly, keep the bar running smoothly, and help create a welcoming, upbeat environment for every customer who walks through the door.
This role is about pace, personality, and pride in the bar.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Pouring and serving drinks confidently and efficiently
- Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and looking sharp
- Handling cash and card payments accurately
- Chatting with customers and creating a great atmosphere
- Supporting teammates during busy periods
- Following responsible service and age‑verification procedures
- Clearing glassware and keeping the bar flowing
- Closing down properly at the end of service (because future‑you will thank you)
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bar experience preferred (but attitude matters most)
- A friendly, outgoing personality with good people skills
- Ability to stay calm and organised when the bar is three‑deep
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Comfort serving alcohol responsibly and confidently
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and busy nights
