Key Requirements
- Proven industrial painting experience with verifiable training and work history.
- Experienced in operating grit blasting equipment and airless spray equipment.
- SAFE Pass and Manual Handling certification are essential.
- Proven experience using power tools for surface preparation, including associated preparation equipment.
- Strong understanding of industrial painting, surface preparation and safe working practices.
- Ability to work safely and effectively on long-term industrial projects.
Role Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Painters for long-term contracts across Ireland.
The successful candidates will have demonstrable experience in industrial painting and surface preparation, with particular expertise in grit blasting and airless spray equipment. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying protective coatings to a high standard while working in accordance with all relevant health & safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out industrial painting and coating applications to the required specification and standard.
- Operate grit blasting equipment safely and effectively for surface preparation.
- Operate airless spray equipment for the application of industrial coatings.
- Prepare surfaces using power tools and other appropriate preparation equipment.
- Ensure surfaces are suitably prepared before painting or coating.
- Follow coating specifications, application procedures and project requirements.
- Carry out work safely and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Inspect completed work and report any defects or issues as required.
- Comply with all site-specific health & safety procedures and regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Verifiable industrial painting experience and training.
- Grit blasting experience.
- Airless spray painting experience.
- Experience with power tool surface preparation.
- Valid SAFE Pass.
- Valid Manual Handling certification.
- Good understanding of industrial painting and surface preparation processes.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach to work.
