The successful candidate will report to the Quality/Technical Manager and Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor product quality, food safety, and manufacturing processes throughout production.
- Verify daily production records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to Food Safety, Hygiene, and SOP requirements.
- Deliver staff inductions, training, and refresher training; maintain training records.
- Liaise with Production and Planning to ensure customer requirements, orders, labels, and pallets are correct.
- Conduct fabrication audits and work with Maintenance to close out non-conformances.
- Perform pre-operational inspections and cleaning verification, addressing any issues identified.
- Maintain supplier approval documentation and communicate quality matters with suppliers.
- Report non-conformances to management and support corrective actions.
- Assist with customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
The Candidate
- Knowledge of BRC and Bord Bia standards.
- Experience in a food production environment.
- Understanding of quality and technical requirements within chilled and frozen food production.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships across departments and work well under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Full driving licence required.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak production periods.
Pay: From €16.00 per hour
