Company:
Our client, a leading Industrial and Warehouse wholesaler based in Galway are now recruiting for an experienced temporary Reach Forklift Driver. The ideal candidates will need a minimum of 1 year as a Reach Forklift Driver, be able to work well under pressure and be highly motivated.
Responsibilities:
- Replenish the chill and frozen storage areas.
- Checking-in chill and frozen deliveries into the Depot.
- Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date.
- Stock management
- Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and HACCP requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Security requirement.
- Process stock returns, damaged stock and out of date products.
- Ensure all areas are always maintained and clean and tidy.
- Assist customers.
- Required to operate in various temperature environments: ambient, chilled, and frozen (PPE will be provided)
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience operating a reach forklift.
- Valid Reach certificate.
- Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment.
- Have good organisational and time management abilities.
- Be a highly motivated individual, who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
- Have a good working knowledge of HACCP.
- Be dedicated and flexible.
- Must be comfortable working in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environments.
Hours of Work:
- Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30
- Friday: 06:00 - 13:00
- 39hrs a week
