Our client is looking for experienced, professional HGV Artic Drivers to join their company in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. They operate a modern fleet transporting critical goods nationwide and are seeking dependable, hard-working professionals to join their dedicated team of drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Nationwide and International Haulage: Operate articulated heavy goods vehicles to safely deliver loads of agricultural produce and other industrial goods across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with Irish road transport and traffic legislation, as well as strict EU tachograph and driving hour regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Demonstrate good mechanical knowledge to handle operational decisions and perform standard daily walk-around safety checks.
- Cargo Security: Ensure all trailer loads are properly distributed, balanced, and securely strapped or sheeted before transit.
Candidate Requirements
- Licensing: A clean and valid Category CE or C1E HGV driving licence.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of articulated truck driving experience within Ireland.
- Credentials: A valid up-to-date Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card and a Digital Tachograph card.
- Core Competencies: Strong independent decision-making skills and an industrious work ethic.
- Fluency in English. Minimum B2 level.
