Roadstone Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of HR Executive. This role is based full-time in our Head Office in Belgard, with an expectation of regular weekly travel to internal and external sites as required.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of a proactive end-to-end HR service across the organisation. Operating within a unionised environment, the role will partner closely with management to drive effective employee relations, talent development, recruitment and engagement initiatives aligned to business strategy.
The successful candidate will contribute to fostering a positive, high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

About The Role
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
-
Assist in the attraction and recruitment of talent in line with strategic priorities.
-
Represent the organisation at careers fairs and external events to attract top talent.
-
Liaise with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure effective recruitment processes.

Assist in the development and maintenance of talent pipelines, with a particular focus on early careers and critical roles.

Monitor recruitment metrics and continuously improve hiring effectiveness.

Preparation, review and issuance of employment contracts, policies and associated documentation.
-
Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout all stages.
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
-
Provide support to management teams across all locations with employee and industrial relations issues.

Support and manage grievance, disciplinary and investigation processes in line with company policy and legislation.

Prepare documentation and represent the organisation at external forums, including the Workplace Relations Commission.

Advise and support line managers on performance management, absence management and conflict resolution.

Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date in line with changing legislation.

Work within a unionised environment, supporting engagement with employee representatives.
Talent Development
-
Support the design and delivery of learning and development initiatives across the organisation.

Coordinate development programmes, including leadership and early careers programmes.

Support the management of graduate programmes, mentorship structures and academic partnerships.

Assist with the talent reporting data for annual talent reviews
HR Reporting & Systems

Maintain and administer HR systems ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data

Contribute to HR process improvements and digitisation initiatives
-
Provide the business with HR reporting to enable strategic decision making.

Assist with relevant CRH annual social, compliance & ethics reporting.
Employee Engagement
-
Promote Employee Engagement and Inclusion & Wellbeing initiatives

Drive internal communications through newsletters, employee apps and campaigns
-
Support the development and delivery of employee engagement initiatives and events.

Support CSR and community initiatives including Business in the Community programmes

The following knowledge, skills and competencies are desirable for this role:

A minimum of 3 year's relevant experience.

A Bachelors (Honours) degree or similar qualification in Human Resources/Industrial Relations
-
Operational IR and HR experience from a unionised working environment (preferable).

Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
-
Experience with HR systems (experience with SuccessFactors and Zellis is advantageous)

Excellent communication and relationship building skills as evidenced by previous work experience.

Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels

A pro-active, self-starter with proven employee engagement skills and business acumen.

A proven track record of driving change and adding value to the overall performance of a previous employer(s).

Full, clean driver’s licence with willingness to travel as required
