Grove Turkeys is a well-established poultry processing company based in Co. Monaghan, Ireland. We operate a busy processing facility and are proud of a long-standing reputation for quality, safety, and looking after our people. We are currently seeking an organised and experienced HR Administrator to join our HR team on a full-time, permanent basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of the HR function. This is a varied and busy role that calls for someone who can manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality at all times, and communicate clearly with employees at every level of the business.
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE
- Maintaining and updating employee records, HR files and HR information systems
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment processes — advertising, shortlisting, scheduling and onboarding
- Managing absence records, return-to-work documentation and leave tracking
- Providing administrative support during formal HR proceedings (disciplinary hearings, grievances, investigations)
- Assisting with HR reporting, data analysis and audit preparation
- Drafting HR correspondence including contracts, letters and policy communications
- Supporting payroll queries in liaison with the payroll function
- Acting as a knowledgeable first point of contact for employees with HR queries
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience (minimum 1 year) in an HR administration role
- Familiarity with Irish employment law and HR processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems
- CIPD qualified or working towards qualification (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a genuine interest in people
