This role is based at our Global HQ in Co. Monaghan H18 VP65.
Reporting to the Steel Stores Supervisor, Inventory Control Manager, and on occasion; the Supply Chain Department Manager.
The duties of the role will include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities & Duties
Carry out kitting activities which are:
-Printing out pick lists from the Factory Track System.
-Pick the parts in-line with the kitting SOP.
-High-light shortages to your supervisor as per SOP.
-Distribute parts lineside for use on the production lines.
-Ensure all machine kits are picked and brought to correct point of use, in a timely manner, to support productions needs.
-Data integrity: General responsibility to maintain stock and location accuracy in all locations associated with Steel Stores and production locations.
-Where appropriate and with the support of your Supervisor, identifying and implement projects which will improve location and stock accuracy.
-Work along with other key departments (Production, Data Integrity, Lean, Purchasing) when needed to resolve issues as they occur or as part of improvement projects.
-Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and guidelines while carrying out their duties.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Highly motivated with strong communication skills.
- Working to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
- Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential.
