As the demand for sustainable, high-speed building grows, we are expanding our Waterford team and looking for motivated and reliable general operative to join our timber frame factory team with immediate starts available for the right candidates.
The Role:
Working in our modern, safety focused production facility, you will be a key part in the assembly and manufacture of timber frame components, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of accuracy, safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the production and assembly of timber frame components
- Operating machinery and tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Measuring, handling, and cutting timber materials in line with technical drawings and instructions
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hazard free work environment
- Supporting colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets
- Following all company health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or woodworking environment is a strong advantage
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility and reliability
- This is a fast-paced, active role requiring manual handling and physical stamina
- Existing manual handling certificate an advantage but not a necessity as training can be provided
