Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of residential developments, they are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join their team on a flagship residential project in Meath. As Finishing Foreman, you will take responsibility for overseeing the final stages of a major residential development consisting of over 250 units in Meath. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring all homes are completed to the highest standards of quality and delivered in line with programme deadlines.
You will coordinate and manage a large number of trades and subcontractors throughout the finishing phase, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality residential developments and maintaining exceptional finishing standards.

Oversee all finishing works across a large-scale residential development, including painting, flooring, tiling, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, and final fixture installations.

Coordinate and manage a large number of trades and subcontractors to ensure works are completed on schedule.

Carry out quality control inspections throughout the finishing phase to ensure all works meet company and client standards.

Manage snagging activities and ensure all defects are resolved prior to handover.

Report directly to the Project Manager on programme progress, quality issues, and resource requirements.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and promote a positive safety culture on site.

Coordinate the delivery and installation of materials to maintain programme targets.

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, site management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Assist in planning and sequencing finishing activities to maximise productivity and efficiency.

Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Finishing Foreman or similar supervisory role within residential construction.

Strong knowledge of finishing trades including plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, joinery, kitchens, and internal fit-out works.

Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating finishing works on large residential developments.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining programme and quality targets.

Full understanding of Irish construction standards, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.

Safe Pass and relevant site management certifications.

Trade background or construction-related qualification would be advantageous.

Competitive salary of €75,000 - €85,000 depending on experience.
