Orchestrates activities related to People Services operations according to established guidelines and sound administrative processes. This position serves as a technical expert in their field of knowledge, responsible for and providing analysis of various People Services programmes and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures a specialist technical area within the people services department progresses smoothly.

Liaises with different Job Families, interacting with managers and senior on different areas in the organisation.

Communicates effectively with all the stakeholders to avoid any probable escalation for the
assigned tasks.
- Contributes to the strategic direction and formulation of People Services policies, procedures, systems and initiatives.

Provides expert and professional advice on People Services issues. Supports key stakeholders including seniors on disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance management and harassment and discrimination cases using a problem-solving approach in order to minimise risk and financial exposure.

Works flexibly and collaboratively with other colleagues in the wider Group People Services team, proactively identifying areas for service improvement within the People Services function both locally and at a Group level.

Undertakes project work and policy development work in line with overall people strategy.
- Defines and communicates internally-set quality standards, ensuring that all aspects of People Services work to achieve satisfactory quality and consistency.

Develops, maintains and continuously improves processes, systems, reporting and technology for the People Services community.

Keeps up to date of developments in employment legislation and case law, is proactive in ensuring that managers are appropriately briefed and trained on relevant changes and new legislation.

Devises and maintains information relating to People Services policies and procedures.

Manages the full performance management lifecycle, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure consistency and timeliness of the cycle.

Creates reports for People Services department on activity, exit interview findings, site visit outcomes, absence, employee engagement, ER issues, T&D initiatives and others as requested.

Attends and contributes to regular senior management meetings as People Services representative.
Qualifications:
- Essential:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Desirable:

Professional certification in HR, e.g. CIPD, SHRM, PHR or similar certification

Additional courses in HR

MBA or equivalent experience

Experience in building long-term relationships with stakeholders and maintaining a strong understanding of the industry and business.
