Position: Health and Safety Officer

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Officer to oversee and improve workplace safety across our operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate safety records and reports
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- Proven experience in a similar role (desired, not essential)
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and influence others
Desirable:
- Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent)
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
