Comans Beverages Ltd. has been marketing, selling and distributing local and international beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks since 1959. Over 230 people are employed across five distribution locations in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Donegal. Supplying licensed trade; pubs, hotels, restaurants, off licenses and off trade, Comans have established relationships with customers across every county. Comans are also distribution partner to Heineken Ireland Limited.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Loading and unloading deliveries to and from Warehouse
Stacking pallets and or kegs
Handling stock with care
Checking paperwork of loads
Storing stock in correct warehouse locations
Responsible for the safe operation of the forklift
Working in a team environment adhering to site Health & Safety guidelines and regulations
Ability to walk, drive, lift or carry items of appropriate weight as required to complete role
A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the site
Key Skills and Competencies:
Previous Forklift operator experience
Safety orientation
Effective spoken and written English communication skills
Attention to detail to ensure documentation is correct and error free
Ability to count accurately
Reliable and self-motivated
Positive attitude
A team player
Ability to work on own initiative
Legal entitlement to work in the Republic of Ireland
