Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and commercially aware Trading Desk Executive to support the central coordination of supply, pricing, customer development, planning, quality and market placement across the business.
The successful candidate will work across growers, production, commercial, technical, logistics and finance teams to strengthen day-to-day visibility and control across producers, customers and relevant product categories.
Main Duties:
Support pricing activities, sales coordination and commercial negotiations aimed at securing the best possible returns for growers.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers for member produce.
Assist with identifying and developing new customer opportunities and routes to market.
Match member supply with customer requirements to optimise sales opportunities.
Support allocation, pricing and commercial planning processes.
Maintain central supply, planning, planting and pricing trackers.
Schedule planting and planting timing in line with demand and farm capacity.
Collect and update forecast and actual volume information.
Minimise wastage by accurately matching production with demand and communicating with customers and farm management.
Track quality performance, specification issues and recurring concerns.
Identify and report variances between planned and actual production volumes.
Support communication and follow-up across growers, customers and internal teams.
Pay: €35.00-€38.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Monaghan, County Monaghan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- FMCG: 10 years (required)
