We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our Stoneworks team from now till end of September. This role would suit a school leaver, college student, recent graduate, or anyone available for summer work who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to gain experience in a manufacturing and production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the cutting of granite products
- Operate machinery and tools used in stoneworks operations (training provided)
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and precision
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed on schedule
Requirements
- Good level of English (spoken and understood)
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Good work ethic and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good level of physical fitness for manual work
