Location: Askeaton Co Limerick
Reporting to: Site Manager or Supervisor or as directed
Hours: 20 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm, Monday to Friday
Job Dimensions:
To provide and maintain a high standard of cleaning service within contracted buildings, working within the cost limits and resources agreed between the Client and ISS.
- Cleaning of offices and facilities
- Safe pass required
- Ensuring all tasks are complete to the standard required.
- Following Health and Safety rules at all times
- Ensure a high standard of cleaning is maintained, as directed by SOPs and by supervisor training or instruction, with minimal supervision.
Practical:
- Ensure high standard of cleaning as directed by supervisor
- Use of cleaning equipment
- Care of equipment
Customer Relations
- Encourage good relations with all clients on contract site
- Promptly deal with any queries or complaints
- Promote ISS Ireland
Training
- Part take in basic induction training for new staff
- Part take in ongoing training from supervisor
- Cooperate with safe working practices (manual handling/safe use of chemicals etc)
Equipment and Supplies:
- Maintain and store cleaning equipment properly.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is cleaned and maintained in good working order.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training sessions on infection control and health and safety.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
General:
- Support other cleaning operatives and assist with training new staff.
- Follow all organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a cleaning of offices and Facilities
HSEQ
- Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations.
- Read, understand and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies.
- Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
