Allied Retail Innovations are currently seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our growing team with an immediate start available.
This role is a key part of our manufacturing process and the successful candidate will work in a fast paced, team driven environment.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, overtime also available. Hours may vary depending on deadlines that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape raw materials using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Assemble elements securely using glue, dowels, and fasteners to build frames, drawers, and shelving.
- Sand, stain and apply sealants or varnishes to achieve a high-quality surface.
- Secure ironmongery like hinges and handles etc. to completed cabinetry.
- Maintain a clean workspace and ensure all shop equipment is safe to use
Requirements:
- 2-3 + years' experience in cabinetry manufacturing and fitting
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
- Experience with installation and fitting on-site
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Relevant qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry/joinery
