Job description:
We are looking for an Early Years Educators to join our team in The Nest Charlestown, Dublin 11. We have competitive salaries based on Qualification & Experience.
Core duties:
- To report to the Management
- To, guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment as part of the childcare team
- Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children in your care
- To adhere to the Child Care 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016, the Child Care Act 1991, and all other relevant legislation and Regulations.
- To adhere to good practice guidelines in relation to Aistear, Síolta, and policy documents
- Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children in your care
- To ensure all quality and safety standards are maintained in the Service always with specific responsibility for your designated room
- To be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures and to follow them accordingly.
The ideal candidates:
- Minimum level 5 qualification in Childcare or equivalent if gained outside of Ireland( must be recognised by DCYA to work in childcare in Ireland)
- Excellent knowledge of current legislation and standards relating to childcare.
- Excellent administrative, organisation and computer skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Candidate must be fully flexible to cover shifts anytime between 7.30am- 18.00pm.
Pay: From €16.00 per hour
