What’s the Opportunity?
We are looking for a proactive and versatile Multi-Skilled General Operative to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience across a broad range of trades and will be responsible for completing a variety of maintenance requests in residential buildings. You will work closely with our helpdesk and Technical Team leader to ensure that repairs and installations are carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of general maintenance tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting.
- Respond to maintenance requests logged through the helpdesk system and prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Diagnose and resolve common issues such as leaks, lighting faults, or door repairs.
- Assist in the installation of fixtures, fittings, and appliances.
- Identify and report potential hazards or necessary major repairs.
- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work independently or as part of a team, taking ownership of tasks from start to completion.
- Maintain a proactive approach, identifying opportunities for preventative maintenance and improvements.

Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential maintenance or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience in basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Relevant trade qualifications are a plus but not essential.
- Should have the ability to work well in a team-based environment
- Should be honest, flexible, confident and quick thinking.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Pay: Up to €20.03 per hour
