About The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Employment Lawyer to join our Employment team. The successful candidate will advise employers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, working closely with partners and associates across the firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused lawyer looking to develop their expertise within a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Advise clients on a wide range of employment law and HR-related matters.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, handbooks and workplace procedures.
- Support clients in relation to disciplinary, grievance, performance management and dismissal processes.
- Advise on redundancy, restructuring and organisational change projects.
- Assist with employment aspects of corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
- Represent clients in employment-related disputes and litigation.
- Conduct legal research and remain up to date on legislative and regulatory developments.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and client training programmes.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualification as a solicitor in Ireland or another recognised common law jurisdiction.
- Relevant experience practising employment law.
- Excellent technical legal skills and attention to detail.
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to client service.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
