Location: Ireland (Travel to projects required)
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Build Your Career with Hands-On Experience from Day One
Are you a recent Quantity Surveying graduate or a Junior QS looking for more than just a desk job?
Our client is a well-established Irish contractor specialising in civil engineering, mineral exploration drilling, landfill construction, quarrying, environmental works and specialist ground engineering projects across Ireland.
They're looking for an ambitious Junior Quantity Surveyor who wants to learn the profession properly. Instead of being confined to one project or one aspect of quantity surveying, you'll work directly alongside an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse range of live projects.
This is an opportunity to build a broad commercial skillset and develop into a confident Quantity Surveyor with exposure that many larger contractors simply can't offer.
What Makes This Role Different?
Most large contractors place graduate and junior Quantity Surveyors into structured programmes where they often become responsible for one small part of a project.
Here, you'll gain exposure to the full commercial lifecycle while working across a wide variety of specialist projects, giving you a much broader understanding of the industry and accelerating your development.
You'll receive one-to-one mentoring from a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is committed to helping you grow professionally.
The Role
Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll support the commercial delivery of multiple projects throughout Ireland while learning every stage of the quantity surveying process.
You'll regularly visit live sites, giving you valuable practical experience and helping you understand how projects are delivered from both an operational and commercial perspective.
