QA/QC Linewalker – Mechanical Pipework
Location: Cork
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Linewalker for a major mechanical pipework project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all piping installations meet quality standards, specifications, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct line walks and inspections of installed pipework
- Verify materials, welds, and supports against P&IDs and isometric drawings
- Identify and document any deviations or defects
- Liaise with construction teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Complete punch lists and prepare reports for quality assurance records
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications
Requirements:
- Experience in QA/QC linewalking within mechanical or piping projects
- Strong knowledge of P&IDs, isometric drawings, and welding specifications
- Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)
- Ability to work efficiently on-site and communicate effectively with teams
- Relevant QA/QC certification or trade background in pipefitting/welding
