The Opportunity
We are looking for an Assistant Vice President to join our Fund Accounting Team as part of our financial services business in Dublin.
As part of the global expansion of the Maples Group’s financial services offering, our Dublin office opened its doors in 2006. Your primary responsibilities include:

Ensuring accurate preparation and review of the daily/monthly/quarterly NAV production on a range of Hedge/PE funds

Developing effective working relations with clients and responding promptly and professionally to client requests;

Assisting with management of local and offshore based Fund Accounting teams
- Managing the annual fund audits process, working closely with external auditors and internal client accounting team

Completing and coordinating the submission of periodic regulatory returns to relevant authorities

Issue of invoices in a timely manner in accordance with fee agreements and monitoring of billing receivables

Assist with preparation and review of fund cash instructions including expense payments and capital calls
- Assisting with Due Diligence processes and Internal /External audit reviews.

Assist with onboarding of existing client funds and the launch of new funds.

Preparation and presentation of periodic Administrator report in quarterly board meetings

Compilation of detailed fee, AUA and other information for budget analysis and risk reporting in relation to assigned portfolio; and

Assisting with ad-hoc projects, including reporting, as required.
What You Bring
In addition to a commitment to delivering superior candidate and stakeholder experiences:
- Minimum of 5-6 years relevant experience within a Fund Administration firm;

Exposure to a wide range of fund types;

Key skills required for this role include a detailed understanding of investment securities, and fund structures;

Preference would be given to candidates with experience of Advent Geneva, World Investor and FIS Investran

Will also be expected to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
