On behalf of my client in Shannon Co Clare, I am recruiting for a warehouse operative with a valid forklift license
This is a full time permanent role Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
Salary is €28000 - €30000 D.O.E
Warehouse Roles and Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload freight vehicles using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT).

Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods accurately and efficiently.

Store inventory in designated warehouse locations using a Reach FLT and Assist with stock control processes, including regular stock takes and cycle counts.

Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders.

Build and secure pallets for dispatch.

Enter transport bookings and Liaise with transport providers.

Ensure high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and cleanliness are maintained throughout the warehouse.

Various adhoc duties as required
Skill and Requirements:
- Minimum of two years' experience in a warehouse environment, ideally within a fast-paced operation

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and management at all levels.

Competent IT skills.

Ability to prioritise and multi task

Strong customer service skills
Essential Requirements:

Valid License for Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT)

Full clean drivers license
-
Dangerous Goods Awareness Training (desirable).
