- Ensure an effective transition from business award into programme delivery.
- Support the development and execution of APL’s sales and growth strategy.
- Maintain awareness of market developments, competitor activity and industry trends.
- Represent APL professionally at customer meetings, site visits, conferences and industry events.

- Ideally five to seven years’ business development or technical sales experience within medical injection moulding, medical contract manufacturing, engineering or a related technical manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in a hunter-focused role securing new customers and programmes.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of pipeline development and delivery.
- Strong knowledge or network within relevant sectors; experience in medical device, diagnostics, pharmaceutical or drug delivery markets would be particularly advantageous.
- Experience selling within FDA and/or ISO 13485 regulated environments is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tooling, automation, injection moulding or validation processes would be advantageous.
