We are now seeking a Clerical Officer Grade III to join our busy General Reception Team.
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Clerical Officer Grade III in our Switchboard department.
Role Overview:
Under the general direction and control of the Line Manager, the Clerical Officer Grade III/Switchboard Operator will be responsible for the following:

To operate the Switchboard effectively and efficiently at all times.

To ensure that queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently
-
To operate the Bleeping system
-
To turn the Switchboard to General Reception when necessary and to assist with Reception duties
Candidate Requirements:
-
Excellent customer service skills
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
-
Patient focused with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
-
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
-
Experience of working in a healthcare environment would be advantageous
-
Fluency in English both spoken and written is a pre-requisite for this role

Flexibility in the role is essential
This position is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. four days week 1 and two days week 2.
Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (8-4 ½ lunch)
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday (8-4 ½ lunch)
(Successful candidate must be available to cover opposite shift holidays and sick leave)
