Please note: We operate a late night cocktail bar Friday and Saturday evenings in our pop-up called SevenNine, last orders are 12:30am. There is scope for this position to be made full time with barista training, working a further three, day time shifts in our Cafe.

You are expected to: Be the welcoming face of Bewley’s and to assist in all areas of the café operation ensuring that guest experience is unique while following health & safety regulations and guidelines.
The Ideal Candidate will:
Have bar experience ideally in a high volume venue, restaurant or hotel setting.
Understand and practice high end customer service.
Would be open to barista training.
Must possess a positive professional attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people efficiently and effectively.
Must be flexible with working hours.
Main Duties:
To maintain all Bewley's coffee, food and service standards, serving food and beverage to guests safely, effectively and efficiently, offering suggestions for upselling and checking of tables
To check frequently that guests are content with experience - meal/beverage/service -, anticipate their needs to exceed their expectations and ensure that all guests receive polite and courteous attention.
To ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
To ensure compliance, at all times, of all relevant legislation relating to weights and measures, licensing and underage drinking.
To operate the till system as per strict company policy. All tables to be processed and closed correctly. To ensure all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner.
To ensure good communication maintained at all times. Ensuring to treat all colleagues with dignity and respect, and to do what we said we will do.

Pay: €14.30-€15.50 per hour
