Bridgestock Care is seeking a full-time Duty Manager to assist our Customer Care Manager in leading the team in providing a high quality service to the residents in our care at the Marian Hostel, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. The position requires a person to work between the hours of 8am and 8pm (8 hour shifts) over 5 days, Monday to Sunday.
The general duties include: ensuring a high standard of customer service is consistently met and that all complaints are dealt with effectively and efficiently; engaging with the local community and support groups /government agencies, developing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relations; leading, motivating and supervising a team of staff; driving our 'continuous improvement' initiatives within the team in conjunction with our Manager; compliance with all business related policies and procedures; budget control; general administrative duties. The successful candidate should have the following competencies:
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
- Strong IT skills (Word, excell, outlook) and literacy skills
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Warm, friendly, personality with a strong sense of compassion and empathy
The successful candidate should have the following experience/qualifications:
- Experience working in a similar environment or the care industry would be an advantage
- Experience working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment
- Relevant qualification in administrative studies (ECDL, Fetac etc)
- Ability to lead, supervise and motivate a team of people
