Care Network Ireland are currently recruiting a qualified acute nurse for an acute facility in Kilkenny.
The Acute Care Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and complex health conditions in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based patient outcomes.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with acute or critical illnesses.

Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions and responses to treatment.

Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Operate and maintain medical equipment such as monitors, infusion pumps, and ventilators.

Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and recovery processes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and reports.

Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policies and procedures.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
