A chef who can run the kitchen on his/her/their own and provide high-quality meals and to comply with the client, company, and statutory regulations. A positive work attitude, being adaptable, self-starting and a team player who will complete integrate in our successful team.
You should be competent in
- Fast paced breakfast and lunch service
- Working on their own initiative, making decisions, culinary knowledge, and techniques
- Prioritizing tasks effectively
- Working knowledge of Food Safety Regulation
To fulfil your duties, you need to:
- Ensure the production of food is to the highest quality and service standards
- Actively build good guest rapport
- To assist at any special duties or functions if required
- Attend meetings, courses and training sessions as may be necessary from time to time
- Relieve and assist in other areas within the unit or other establishments.
Qualification Required: HACCP
Experience:
- 5 years in catering with 2/3 years at Chef de Partie level.
- Fluent English
- Proficient computer skills
HSEQ
- Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
- Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)
- Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations
- Read, understand and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies
Other features of the job
It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
