This Is Not A Summer Job, It is a full time role which you must be able to continue in, full time after the summer.
No previous experience in gymnastics or gymnastics coaching is required as full training will be provided.
We are hiring for our Gymnastics instructor in training position.
Employees working in these positions will initially start out as an instructor in training assisting classes with one of our trained coaches, there will be an in depth training program that new hires will go through to learn how to take their own beginner gymnastics classes.
Previous experience working with kids will influence your starting pay rate. Your pay rate will go up as you gain experience.
Starting Pay Rate: Please note that the advertised starting pay rate is for someone who has previous experience working with kids. Previous experience working with kids is desired however we may consider applicants without this although starting pay rate may be lower in this case. Further previous experience either in gymnastics or a similar sport that would lead to faster onboarding can bring a higher starting pay rate.
Job Description
This coach in training position is a full time position consisting mainly of coaching classes. There is also some general administrative work in the office as part of this role, there is no admin experience required for this as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the main coaches of the classes with teaching gymnastics which involves: Helping kids with more basic activities/side stations, helping with class and behaviour management as well as interacting with the kids and families to maintain a great customer experience.
- Helping with the smooth running of the gym during class times eg: Supervising collection times, helping with any problems that may arise during classes etc to help the business operations to run smoothly.
- Once new hires have gone through our in depth training plan they will be expected to run their own classes ensuring they deliver the class safely and lead the class to a high standard.
- Administrative Responsibilities: Performing tasks to assist with the running of the gym and to maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Cleaning: There are some cleaning responsibilities to ensure a clean tidy facility
Availability needed
Tuesday to Friday: 12:00pm-8:45pm
Saturday: 8:30am-3:30pm
Sunday & Monday: Day Off

Certifications & Training Paid For: Along with your on the job training we will pay for you to complete the following certifications if you do not have them already.
Manual Handling✅ , Sport Ireland Safeguarding 1✅, may be other certifications and training paid for as needs be.

Have experience as an athlete in the sport of gymnastics? This is an advantage and we may take someone with this experience if they did not have experience working with kids.
