Job Opportunity: Early Years Educator
Location: Kildare Village Little Stars
Contract Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: €15.00 – €17.50 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team. This role involves supporting children’s learning and development in a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
As an Early Years Educator, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality early years care and education, creating engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with Ireland’s national frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with Aistear and Síolta
- Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Observe, document, and assess children’s progress to support individual learning journeys
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment in line with Tusla Early Years Regulations
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Participate in team meetings, continuous professional development, and setting initiatives
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a minimum Level 5 QQI qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 6 or higher desirable)
- Have a genuine passion for working with young children
- Be creative, patient, and adaptable
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing
- Have experience in an early years setting (desirable but not essential)
