SEDA College is looking for a Study Abroad Specialist – Sales Consultant to support the Mongolian and Japan Market.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sales, student recruitment, partner relationship management, and student support, who understands the importance of delivering both commercial results and a high-quality student experience.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing B2B partnerships, supporting prospective students throughout the enrolment journey, assisting with visa-related guidance, and helping drive business growth in the assigned markets.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Manage and grow the Mongolia and Japan market
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with education agents, partners, and recruitment channels
- Convert leads into enrolments through effective follow-up, sales strategy, and relationship-building
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market growth initiatives
- Work towards individual and team sales targets, KPIs, and conversion goals
- Support campaigns, events, fairs, and recruitment activities aimed at increasing student numbers
Student Support & Admissions
- Support students throughout the sales and enrolment process
- Provide guidance and clear communication on course options, school procedures, and next steps
- Assist students with documentation and general questions before arrival
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and professional student journey
- Help maintain a positive student experience from first contact to arrival
Visa & Immigration Process Support
- Provide support and guidance regarding student visa and immigration-related processes
- Assist students and/or partner agencies with the correct preparation of visa-related documentation
- Help ensure students receive accurate information regarding requirements, deadlines, and application steps
- Work closely with agencies to improve the quality and consistency of visa preparation and student screening
- Support internal initiatives aimed at improving visa application quality and reducing refusals
B2B Partner Management
- Act as a key point of contact for assigned agency partners
- Support agencies with training, communication, documentation, and commercial alignment
- Ensure partners are aligned with SEDA College procedures, standards, and expectations
- Help monitor the quality of applications and student profiles coming from partner agencies
- Maintain professional and productive long-term relationships with business partners

Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, business development, student recruitment, or account management (preferably in the education sector)
- Experience working with B2B partnerships, agencies, or international recruitment channels
- Knowledge of immigration and student visa processes
- Strong understanding of the student journey, from enquiry to enrolment
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Comfortable working with targets, KPIs, and commissions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in video and voice calls (Zoom, WhatsApp, Google Meet, etc.)
- Strong digital skills (CRM, Google Workspace, email, internal systems)
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with autonomy
- English (required)
