Overview
An HVAC Technician is responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential properties. This role supports the performance, safety, and reliability of key building systems to ensure residents receive a high standard of service and comfort.
Occu Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team and support the day-to-day servicing and maintenance of ventilation and heat pump systems across our residential portfolio. The role is hands-on, mobile, and ideal for someone who is reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and resident service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Servicing & Maintenance
- Annual servicing and maintenance of ventilation and heat pump units.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and technical standards for servicing and repair works.
- Carry out minor maintenance works to vacant properties prior to resident move-ins.
- Maintain accurate service records using verbal, written, and electronic communication methods.
Compliance & Site Standards
- Adhere to industry legislation, particularly Health and Safety requirements.
- Ensure timely and efficient response to all scheduled works and site requirements.
- Operate company tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Support junior technicians and contribute positively to the wider Service team.
- Deliver all work to a consistently high standard across residential sites.
Experience & Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and heat pump technologies.
- Plumbing or Electrician qualification required.
- Demonstrated experience in residential and commercial maintenance environments.
- QQI Level 5 or Level 6 Trade Certificate in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning desirable.
- NZEB – Domestic Heat Pump Installation/Ventilation Programme desirable.
- F-Gas Handling Certification is an advantage.
- Safe Pass Card required.
- Full clean driving licence required.

Typical Work Conditions & Hours
- Full-time, permanent role.
- Work location: On the road – Greater Dublin Area.
- Role includes use of company tools and equipment.
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet business needs.
