Looking for Tour Guides Who Love Food
Secret Food Tours, an award-winning tour company, is looking for outgoing individuals who are passionate about food, travel and history to lead foodie tours through Cork city centre.
This role is a lot of fun and a perfect fit for applicants with a flair for entertaining and a love of great food. Our guides lead small groups of tourists through some of Cork's best eateries while sharing history and culture along the way. It's an ideal job for performers, teachers, historians, college students, and anyone with a genuine passion for food.
Our ideal candidate is:
- Professional, responsible, and confident managing both time and money
- Passionate about Cork, its history, its culture, and above all, its food
- Outgoing and dedicated to delivering a once-in-a-lifetime guest experience
- Able to memorise a tour script and route while making it their own
Secret Food Tours offers competitive pay at a flat rate of €80 per 3 to 3.5 hour tour, plus tips (which are frequently very generous!). We're bringing on a guide with flexible availability, ideally including Saturdays, with scope to pick up additional shifts based on demand and private bookings.
